✅ “Worth more than any high-ticket course I’ve taken.” – Monica
✅ “The most fun business challenge I’ve ever done.” – Ali

Email is supposed to be easy … so why is it such a pain?

You know you should send more emails. But you don’t. You know it should be easier, but it isn’t.

It’s difficult. You get caught up in client work and putting out fires and feeding those pesky kids and soon enough your neglected subscribers wonder why you’re ghosting them.

That’s normal. It’s part of the condition of “having a list” for most people. It’s normal because:

  • You don’t know where to start. The blank screen stares back at you in judgement and reminds you that other stuff is easier, so you might as well do that.
  • It takes forever. One email and two hours later, you’re still fiddling with it like a broken Rubik’s Cube and plucking up the courage to hit send. Even with AI prompts.
  • You’re overthinking. Should it be funny? Professional? Salesy? How do people do this?!
  • Your emails don’t sound like you. They’re stiff. Awkward. Not the real you. Overly professional. Overly familiar. WTF is with the emojis??

Can you relate? Probably.

That’s exactly why I created The Delightful Emails Challenge—to help you ditch the struggle, write with ease, and actually enjoy emailing your list.

In case we don’t know each other …

Hi. I’m Matthew Kimberley.

I wrote Get A F*cking Grip and Book Yourself Solid for Coaches and Consultants.

I founded of The School for Selling, but most importantly for you right now, I created Delightful Emails, the course that’s taught more than a thousand reluctant email-writers how to write emails more easily, persuasively and, yes, delightfully.

So, onto the Challenge

This challenge isn’t theory. It’s everything I know about writing effective emails boiled down into 20 days of action, accountability, and results.

With weekends off. Because weekends are for whisky and laundry. Or horses and hiking. Or whatever lights you up more than your nine-to-five.

Also: you’ll see that I tend to both SHOW and tell. Each email will not only delight you and “teach you how to fish” but you’ll see the tactics, approaches and strategies I’m talking about inside the very emails you’re reading. I’ll be leading from the front AND bringing up the rear. (That’s what she said.)

It’s a simple and highly effective program: write 20 emails to your list in 20 days.

And send them.

Or just write them. You don’t have to send them daily if that’s not your jam. You can put them in the drafts folder for next time you’re doing the proverbial – or literal – “making money from the beach”.

But you’re going to go on a one month, fifteen minutes a day, email education like you’ve never gotten before.

What about AI?

This is a 100% AI-FREE zone. I don’t care if you use AI or whatever to write your emails. That’s your business. You can use them for planning if you like.

This challenge is designed to make you THINK differently about email. Become a better communicator, storyteller and marketer, entirely independently of whatever tool you’re using.

(Although that said, in week four, I’ve built you a really fun little GPT tool that is like having an “email training buddy” in your pocket.)

PLUS: VALUABLE BONUSES!

Think I’d just give you a simple “challenge”? Not a chance!

Join today and you’ll ALSO get:

  • No community. No awkward Zoom calls. No Facebook group filled with whining and ads. No listening to other people’s problems. (Value: $2,000)
  • No videos to watch. No “module one” procrastination. No digital “stuff to get to” guilt. No losing your log in and wasting everybody’s time with password reset requests. (Value: $5,000)
  • No fluff. Just you, me, your keyboard, and accountability. (Value: $45,000)

Every single weekday, you’ll get an email to spark your creativity and make sure you always know exactly what to say.

You then write an email. It can be terrible, or it can be brilliant, and you send it to me and, if you like, your list.

This isn’t some pre-recorded, copy-and-paste course. It’s a real-time correspondence program. And it’s tailored to make sure you show up, write, and hit ‘send.’

Who is it for?

Business owners with mailing lists. Bonus points if you’re ever thought “I should do more with email” because you’ll get the most out of it.

That said, Sean has a daily email practice and at only two weeks into the four, he wrote and said:

“I’ve been sending a daily email for years, but always seek out to learn new ways to keep it fresh. And this sir MK, has been funky fresh so far. For numbers, $6992 cash generated from the 10 emails so far. That number is closer to $10k when you factor in cash to be collected from monthly payment plans.

So even if you’re good at this, I’d warrant you can be even better.

But if you HAVE been ghosting your subscribers, it’s time to:

  • Strengthen your writing muscle.
  • Form a habit of consistency.
  • Get your emails out the door without overthinking every word.

What to expect, week by week?

This isn’t just about writing emails. It’s about rewiring your brain to see email ideas everywhere, making writing easier, faster, and more fun than ever before.

💥 Week 1 – The Icebreaker & Idea Explosion

  • Discover why you’ve been overcomplicating email writing—and how to make it effortless.
  • Train your brain to see email ideas everywhere (even in the most mundane moments).
  • Write your first few emails without second-guessing every word.
  • Get out of your own way and start writing faster than ever before.

📚 Week 2 – Mastering Storytelling & Unforgettable Emails

  • Learn the secret to writing emails that people actually look forward to opening.
  • Add personality, humor, and “WTF did I just read?” moments that keep readers hooked.
  • Discover why people keep ignoring your emails—and how to make sure they never do again.
  • Break every “corporate email” rule you thought you had to follow (and watch your engagement soar).

💸 Week 3 – Selling Without Selling

  • Turn your emails into money-making machines (without changing who you are).
  • Make subtle but powerful sales pitches that feel like conversations, not commercials.
  • Find your signature “email style”—so you always know exactly what to say, and how to say it.
  • Finally break free from overthinking, overwriting, and over-editing.

👩🏽‍💻 Week 4 – Locking In the Habit & Writing Like a Pro

  • Create a never-ending supply of email ideas—so you never stare at a blank screen again.
  • Learn the trick to writing ridiculously effective emails in 15 minutes or less.
  • Find out how to double your engagement with one simple shift.
  • Wrap up the challenge with 20+ emails written and an unstoppable habit that lasts forever.

What will you get out of it?

By the end of the month, you’ll have:

  • stronger writing muscle—emails will flow with ease.
  • A library of 20 emails you’ve either already sent (proof you can do this!) or are lined up to be sent.
  • A habit of consistency that will carry you far beyond the challenge.
  • The confidence to hit ‘send’ without second-guessing yourself.

Why is this “different”?

Let’s be honest—there’s no shortage of email courses. I’ve created a particularly brilliant one myself.

(By the way if you haven’t taken the full Delightful Emails program, that’s totally ok. I mean, shame on you, for sure, but it’s not a prerequisite to doing the challenge.)

The Delightful Emails Challenge stands out because:

  1. It’s personal. I’m doing this with you, you’re going to send me your homework (no deadlines though) and there’s no hiding.
  2. It’s 100% email-based. No portals. No logins. No Facebook groups. Just check your inbox.
  3. It’s all about action. This isn’t about learning theory. It’s about doing the work.
  4. Accountability. You’re going to hit reply to every single one of my twenty emails with your own email pasted for me to read.

“The email challenge gives me such clarity (and it’s the most fun challenge I have ever participated in). I LOVE that it’s just me and you (even if you do this me-and-you-thing with a hundred of others at the same time).”

– Monica

TL/DR

Join The Delightful Emails Challenge. Every weekday for a month I’ll write you an email. You’ll then write an email to your list – that you can send or not – and ALSO send it to me as soon as it’s written.

I’ll give you prompts and strategies and techniques and virtual massages to make the whole process easy and delightful.

FAQ

What? You’re going to review all of my emails?

No. That’s not on offer. I’m supervising your practice sessions, not marking your papers. But I will be keeping an eye out for your reply. I’ll know if you’re not playing the game.

How long is it going to take?

My emails will include prompts that are designed to make writing fast and easy, even if you only have 15-20 minutes. This is about progress, not perfection.

Do I need any fancy tools?

Nope! As long as you can check your inbox and reply to my emails, you’re good to go.

Will I have access to recordings or materials after the challenge?

There’s nothing to “record.” This is 100% email-based, and you’ll have everything saved in your inbox forever.

What if I fall behind?

No worries! You can go at your own pace. The emails will stay in your inbox, ready whenever you are. It falls slightly beyond the spirit of the law, but it’s definitely not beyond the letter of the law. And I ain’t no snitch.

What times do the emails come through?

Once a day. No promises what time. My dog needs frequent vet visits. But they’ll be daily, so once you’ve received your first one, set your own “reply” time within 24 hours – or whatever suits you, we’re not in school here – and you’ve got your cadence.

Will this work if I’ve never emailed my list before?

Absolutely! This challenge is perfect for anyone, whether you’re starting from scratch or looking to reignite your email game. It’s frankly something I wanted for myself, but couldn’t find it so I created it. And I’ve been mailing, delightfully, for years.

What happens after I join?

You’ll get a welcome email with all the details. Then, from the very next week day, the daily prompts will start landing in your inbox Monday through Friday.

What’s the investment?

$47.

That’s it.

For less than the price of one of those vet visits, you’ll build the habit, confidence, and momentum you need to finally make your email list work for you.

Can I get a payment plan?

Sorry, not at this price …

When does it start?

It starts tomorrow, unless today is a Friday or Saturday, in which case we’ll start on Monday.

20 working days. 20 emails. One transformed email game.

THANK YOU so very much. This has been a game-changer. I did not know for sure that I had it in me and I am SO HAPPY with my persistence and my results. I like my writing, mostly, and I’ve been DOING IT. I could sob with gratitude. Honestly.

Ali Duffey

Thank you again, Matthew. This email challenge is worth a million dollar. It’s better than any business course I have ever invested in.

Monica Kristin Hansen

“It has been a blast. I have consistently had over 300 people open each email (and I didn’t know my list was that big.) and I had never sent more than 1-2 emails out a month and the last one I had sent was last year. I had a patient on my list come up to me and said I need to give a tissue warning because I made her cry with a couple of the stories. So thank you for the push. It’s fun to sit and write about anything and everything. I enjoy it much better than verbal conversations I have to repeat over and over.”
